My name is Todd Lawlar and this site was born out of a passion for milling. I started out providing tree services. I felt great helping property owners get rid of unwanted trees. But I discovered that it’s even greater to repurpose unwanted trees and turn them into something beautiful.

For this reason, I have focused on milling for the last 10 years. And now I am hoping this site will serve as a hub for sawmill owners so they can check out all things related to sawmills. It is also my hope that this site will be of help those who are just starting out in this industry.

And by the way, if you are wondering who Cari Jean is, she is the content creator for this site. Cari has a journalism degree and has been creating content on the Internet for over a decade.
